Leonardo Da Vinci

Leonardo da Vinci was born in 1452, in the heart of the Renaissance in the heart of Europe. He was born outside Vinci, which lies high up on Mount Albano, in the valley of the Arno River, near the city of Florence.  He was the son of Ser Pierro da Vinci, who was a legal specialist, and a peasant girl named Caterina. He was considered an “illegitimate” son because they were not married. His father married into a wealthy family, and he went to live with his grandparents. Later he lived with his father’s family, and they didn’t conceal his birth and welcomed his addition to the family. As a child he was very smart and was very quick at arithmetic and music. He learned the lyre and had a wonderful singing voice, and quickly went to further develop his talents with a tutor. Biography – Leonardo da Vinci (leonardo-da-vinci.ch)

My favorite painting of his was my two I had up there because the second one to the right (The last supper) is family gathering telling them everything is going to be ok. It's a visual of people gathering and God talking to them. The aspect of this painting is that he knew what was coming and they had to wash their feet, we are all the same in the lords' eyes. When I look at the colors of the painting it's so dull but dull in a good way like a calm scene, very dull not so many colors, making everything equal.
Mona Lisa is my all-time favorite I am a strong believer of women rights, even though nobody knows what this picture actual means but da Vinci painted this portrait, and this painting was very well known until he died. The mona Lisa painting had so many different aspects of it in people eyes, like she was pregnant, or she had jaundice because her skin looked weird. but she was actual a real person that da Vinci painting her name was Lisa Gioconda. The colors of the painting honestly to me was like a helpless women calling out for help or even being forced to sit there and get painted but who knows. I love this painting because he has so much meaning behind it and the colors suit everything people say about it, it one of those painting that goes with whatever people say.
